
Tomas Diago
Tomás Diago founded Softonic in Barcelona (Spain) in 1997. The company, which is based on his final degree project, has since become a favorite destination worldwide for software downloads.
Since he founded the company, Tomás has remained true to Softonic's mission of international expansion. His global vision of the sector, along with his ability to adapt to the individual needs of users around the world, have been key factors in Softonic's success.
He has received the National Young Entrepreneur Award from the Spanish Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs Associations (CEAJE), the Entrepreneur of the Future award from Foment de Treball Nacional (Catalonia Employment Development Department) and the Emerging Entrepreneur Award from the consulting firm Ernst & Young.
Tomás holds a degree in IT Management from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a degree Computer Engineering from University of La Salle (Ramon Llull University).
