ShEquity VISION is to close the gender funding gap in Africa, and our PURPOSE is to provide smart investment to a de-risked pool of female-led and owned innovative, impactful, scalable and sustainable startups/SMEs in Sub-Saharan Africa with significant growth potential. We fully align with #2XChallenge.

We take an ecosystem approach to investing: combining our ShEquity Business Accelerator (SHEBA) + our VC Fund. SHEBA also serves as a Technical Assistance Facility (TA) for post-investment support to our investees.

We do this to allow investors to have access to a trusted pipeline of the fertile African startup/SMEs market with potential to generate triple bottom line return: financial return combined with postive impact on #people and the #planet.

We focus on the following high-growth, high-impact sectors: Agribusiness/Food, Healthcare, Tech Enabled Solutions, Renewable Energies, Mobility, and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) with High Growth Potential
