NanoSen
The EXIST-funded company develops force sensors that are particularly robust, flexible and energy-efficient.
NanoSen, a startup project from Chemnitz University of Technology, focuses on developing a process for the mass production of force sensors. Launched in October 2022 under the EXIST research transfer funding, the company comprises an international team of four members. NanoSen's sensors are designed with optimized parameters to offer a wide range of special properties at low production costs, enabling economies of scale across various applications. The sensors are durable, washable with conventional machines, and suitable for both consumer and medical applications. The business model revolves around a variable production process that allows for highly customizable products tailored to specific end-user needs. NanoSen aims to transform years of scientific research into market-ready solutions, addressing challenges with a proactive approach.
