ColdSpark® is SEID’s flagship initiative to revolutionise hydrogen production and elemental carbon valorisation. The project utilises non-thermal plasma technology to split methane into hydrogen and high-value carbon materials, while achieving zero CO₂ emissions. Building on the success of its Phase I research and development, ColdSpark advances methane splitting to a new level of efficiency, targeting an industrial readiness level of Technology Readiness Level 7 (TRL 7).
