More about Africa Digital Financial Inclusion Facility (ADFI)
Edit

Backed by its partners, the African Development Bank, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Agence Française de développement (AFD), the Government of Luxembourg's Ministry of Finance and the Government of France's Ministry for the Economy and Finance, The Africa Digital Financial Inclusion Facility (ADFI) is a new financing initiative designed to accelerate digital financial inclusion across Africa.

Structured as a blended finance facility composed of a multi-donor Special Fund, ADFI is comprised of a USD 100 million target envelope and USD 300 million in partner grant money and debt-funding from the African Development Bank.

ADFI believes that with the right strategic investments, the obstacles to closing inclusion gaps and achieving financial inclusion for all, including women and the most vulnerable, can be overcome.
